Nick Patton was the founder of Patton, Tidwell & Culbertson. In 2014, he retired from the active practice of law.
Widely recognized as one of the region’s finest trial lawyers, Mr. Patton had more than fifty years’ experience in the federal and state courts of Texas and Arkansas. He had represented corporations in complex litigation, antitrust and patent matters and individuals in catastrophic personal injury cases. He had extensive trial experience in the areas of products liability and employment discrimination. Frequently listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Patton was a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He was also a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers.
Mr. Patton was licensed to practice in Texas and Arkansas, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Texas and the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Eighth and Federal Circuits, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.
